Learn to Cast and Catch Those Fish!

Every Wednesday evening at Valley Oaks Golf Course, Kaweah Fly Fishers offer free casting lessons. Even if you’ve never had a fly rod in your hand, you can learn to cast effectively and accurately. If you have some experience, our FFI certified casting instructor can get you casting better, allowing you to be able to cast to fish instead of casting to the trees lining the banks.

Don’t have gear? No worries! We have an assortment of rods and reels that you can use during class. If you have your own gear, you can bring and use that if you wish.

Class begins at 5:30 PM and continues until dark. Classes are held during Daylight Savings time.
