Kaweah Flyfishers Club
We are a group of folks who enjoy the sport of fly fishing. We get together monthly to hear speakers share information which helps us find opportunities in our sport, learn about our environment, and sometimes learn how to help others and our environment.
Every other month or so, we go on outings. See the Events page for a complete listing.
Every other Tuesday we gather to tie flies. The class is led by Don Lieb.
Every Wednesday evening during Daylight Savings Time, we gather at Valley Oaks Golf Course to learn and teach casting.
One of our proudest achievements is the work that we do to help classrooms with Trout in the Classroom. It’s a program designed to teach children in the primary grades about the life cycle of fish. The students get to see the eggs hatch, and raise them until they are released into the wild. We help with equipment, egg delivery, and field trip information.
